@cassiecodes Aww, aren't you lovely and sweet? You're like snow white where all the wild animals love you.
While I have one manky old fox that frequently comes to our garden here and takes a crap on the most likely place for you to step on. And step on it I have. Several times now.
@MarijnJH Understood. I'm afraid you're in a pickle, then. As @selfawaresoup said, there currently isn't a way to achieve it with just CSS as the ascender, descender, x-height, etc, all vary depending on the font used and the CSS model is much more coarse than then font definitions.
@MarijnJH @Jan_DHollander@will_hawker You'll have to know the sizing info if the font you are using and add spacing accordingly. Here's a helper to generate line spacing - it isn't what you are asking for but it should help explain the details: https://t.co/yOQggbP0xc
The Johnson government’s NHS Bill is a Privatisation Bill.
We’ve all seen in the pandemic how bringing in private firms has wasted vast sums, and absolutely failed us as patients and as a country. What on earth are Johnson and co thinking?
Connections! I'm on the lookout for an illustrator to work with on a (medical) project. Needs: flat-style, understanding of exporting SVG for the web, inkscape, ability to collaborate with developer (me) to create web-optmized, reusable source files. RTs and shares appreciated.
Let me add that Inkscape is not a hard requirement. It's only that I'd rather not have to get a license to whatever vector drawing software is hot these days. All I would like is a way to collaborate on the same source file.
@BenjaminTobitt The final output is to be vector, more specifically, SVGs. I appreciate the interest but I am getting a feeling the project is not a good match for your tools.
ps: Ah, flash banner work... That brings back some memories. 😅
@BenjaminTobitt The end result needs to be an optimised SVG, probably with some customization done by myself after the illustrations are done. Have you created assets to be used online in the past?
@BenjaminTobitt It's for medical illustrations, it needs to have a certain amount of detail and be precise. Style-wise, there isn't anything set on stone as long as we're talking about flat vector style.
I would say Kurzgesagt is a good example of detail and flat style I would personally like.
