This time I did my homework. I talked to lots of experts including @ccorcos, the first engineer at Notion.
He suggested Remirror, a React framework built around a battle-tested editor called Prosemirror.
We kicked off the rewrite.
@mattpocockuk I think they could (should) have recommended other alternatives, like RSBuild. From personal experience, when migrating complex applications it was much easier due to it's Webpack compatibility
@mattpocockuk Thoughts on writing unit tests in TypeScript? I seen arguments both for and against, keen on your take. Also for the wider testing pyramid
Remirror v3 has been released! Check out the announcement and migration guide https://t.co/8oqhqPl5gr https://t.co/rNEzYuaVtj

Rather than appending all chunks together?
This is a new one – found in a client site today. Script that sets all Lighthouse scores to 100%.
I'm not overreacting, right? This is straight-up fabricating performance metrics by the previous agency. Seems insane.
Trying this out for just normal functions and I'm feeling bullish about it.
Being able to just say 'transcribeAudio.Input' is so great. No need to name another type.
