বিড়লা প্ল্যানেটোরিয়ামের সামনে এক দিকের রাস্তা ব্যবহার করে কর্মসূচি করতে পারবে কালীঘাট তৃণমূল। অন্য দিকের রাস্তা দিয়ে গাড়ি চলাচল করবে। আদালত জানিয়েছে, দুপুর ১২টা থেকে বিকেল সাড়ে ৩টে পর্যন্ত করা যাবে ওই কর্মসূচি।

বুধবার বিচারপতি সৌগত ভট্টাচার্য জানান, অনধিক তিন হাজার লোক নিয়ে ওই কর্মসূচি পালন করা যাবে। বিড়লা প্ল্যানেটোরিয়ামের সামনে এক দিকের রাস্তা ব্যবহার করে কর্মসূচি করতে পারবে তৃণমূল।

মানুষ এসব জেনেই তো এদেরকে ভোট দিয়েছে।

তাই এরা মনে করে সেই সব জেনেও এদেরকে ভোটে জেতানো মানুষই এদের শক্তি। এই মানুষই এদেরকে ভোটে জিতিয়ে আসলে মূর্তি ভাঙার , সাম্প্রদায়িক উস্কানি দেওয়ার , ধর্ষক-খুনিদের সাজা মুকুব করে জেল থেকে ছাড়িয়ে এনে মালা পরানোর বা চোর চিটিংবাজ দলবদলুদের দলে নিয়ে সাংসদ-বিধায়ক বা মন্ত্রী বানানোর লাইসেন্স দিয়েছে।
কাজেই এগুলো হবে, ঘটবে!

এদেরকে ক্ষমতায় বসালে ‘কত আর খারাপ হবে …’ এটাই ভাবতে ভাবতে আপাতত দেখতে থাকুন!
আর ঠিক ‘কতটা’ খারাপ হলে ‘ততটা’ হবে জানাবেন প্লিজ।

আপাতত এটুকুই।

পুনশ্চ: আপনি যখন বারুইপুর কান্ডে চোখে চোখ রেখে ‘ইসলামিক মৌলবাদী’ কাম ‘জেহাদি’ লিঙ্ক খুঁজছিলেন তখন এরা তার অদূরেই সোনারপুরে ‘জয় শ্রী রাম’ স্লোগান দিতে দিতে একটা চার্চ ভেঙেছে! জাস্ট জানিয়ে রাখলাম। কারণ ‘ততটা’ খারাপ সম্ভবত অনেক দূর.. পথটা পেরোতে হবে তো !

The BJP is planning to bring back the 131st Constitution Amendment Bill that failed in the last session of Parliament in April 2026

The failed Bill purported to reserve for women one-third of the seats in the Lok Sabha and the State Assemblies but its real purpose was to pave the way for delimitation and, possibly, gerrymandering of constituencies

The Constitution of India was already amended by the Constitution 106th Amendment Act to provide reservation for women in the Lok Sabha and the State Assemblies. Hence there was -- and there is -- no need for a new Bill to provide reservation for women

After splitting the TMC, the BJP is reportedly wooing the NCP(SP) and the DMK to garner the crucial votes to support the new version of the failed Bill

NCP(SP) and DMK have been clear-headed about the real purpose of the failed Bill and it is expected that they will stand firm in the future too

Any support to a new version of the failed Bill -- whose real purpose is delimitation -- will be a betrayal of their own conscience that guided them in April 2026

Delimitation of constituencies under the present formula will cause grave injustice to the rights of States that had faithfully followed the National Population Policy and contained the growth of the State's population

States' rights must be fiercely guarded against the rampaging BJP

I have written to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi seeking urgent intervention in view of the emerging drought situation in Karnataka.

The State has recorded a significant monsoon deficit, delayed kharif sowing, low reservoir storage and increasing stress on agriculture, drinking water and rural livelihoods.

While the Government of Karnataka has already initiated contingency measures and prioritised water conservation, I have requested the Centre to depute a Central Team to assess the situation on the ground and extend timely assistance to support our farmers and strengthen the State’s drought mitigation efforts.

We stand firmly with every farmer and every family affected during this challenging time.
