[ Clyde hears the door creaks, he wants to go up but he doesn’t. As confident as he looks, it’s a facade. He’s slightly anxious. I mean- This is his first time seeing one of his best friends since years in real life. And the last time he saw him in person was his funeral. ]
They can't see him. Not yet. This is what he wanted, why is he so afraid? God answered his prayers, yet all he wants to do is run.
What are you afraid of? Afraid of what they'd think of you? What you think of them? They're your friends. This is fine! This is.. jesus... ]
[ He chuckles after teasing Rebecca, elbowing her before looking towards Sam. ]
“ Mind telling us where our old friend is at? Unless you wanna talk about what you posted? “

“ Hey. You wanna talk about it? “
[ He gives him a stupid grin, nearly holding back laughter. Oh how he loves messing with people. He elbows Sam in a friendly mocking way. ]
[ He holds onto Rebecca and lets himself in the house, still looking at him in a funny way. ]
(⠀startled by the sudden knocks , he moves to the noise- to his front door.⠀)
(⠀oh , how he knows who this could be.⠀)
(⠀he knows.⠀)
(⠀samuel's hand twists the doorknob open , his frown meeting the duo at his doorstep.⠀)
“ So, where is our friend anyways? I kind of expected him to be the one answering the door, but this was pretty funny so I’m not complaining a lot. “
[ He carefully places Rebecca on the couch, almost like guiding a grandma. ]
“ Okay c’mon Granny, sit down for a bit. “
help her out of it, gently holding her arm and carefully walking her to the door. ]
[ Beep beep. The cars locked, and the door slams closed. He holds onto Rebecca like helping an old lady cross the street as they make their way through the door. ]
[ Knock knock. ]
