@PippaCrerar@guardian Rebalancing power? How? What difference does it make if someone makes a decision sat at a desk in Manchester rather than sat at a desk in London? The result of that decision will still be the same. This is just more smoke and mirrors intended to boost Burnhams popularity
@BBCPolitics You know, when you take out a 4 year lease on a car, you don't plan the servicing and tyre changes for 10 years do you... He has (at best) 2 years - he's just blowing smoke up the country's arse....
@piersmorgan No more preposterous than all the sycophants crawling up the new PM's arse, proclaiming him the saviour, when it's just going to be more of the same (but whilst wearing a T-Shirt)
@PippaCrerar He's even telling lies there - "This is the end of my political journey" - he's not resigned as an MP though has he... he can't help it - pathological liar
@PippaCrerar I find it quite worrying that this is seen as a joke. The people of Clacton are having democracy taken away from them by the main parties, who are just sniggering at it. And no - the point they are trying to make doesn't justify the void they are leaving for people in Clacton.
@PippaCrerar Well that must be the scoop of the year. Just for the record, most of us don't care what Keir thinks about the score tonight. With his track record I'd not be surprised to find he was planning to give the Falklands to Argentina along with a big chunk of money.
@GMB Absolutely everything a parent could need to protect their children from online harm is already available to them. Parents need to parent - it is not the job of the state.
But if you want a back door to digital ID then hey presto...
@GMB The Culture secretary is obviously an idiot. How would that even be possible? She mustn't be aware of the multitude of free streaming services which require no registration etc. Oh, and as her boss is trying to restrict internet, many will have VPN so will stream over that too
@PolitlcsUK Every tool a parent needs to safeguard their own children is already available to them. Parents need to parent, the govt needs to stop trying to get Digital ID in through the back door.
Oh, of course... that's what this is all about isn't it - bugger all to do with child safety!
@clarkaw Let's not forget that an elderly woman was murdered, most likely in pain and terror. And your first thought is to point out that her devout catholic beliefs were 'hurty' to you. Dispicable.
@LozzaFox and now she's justifying by saying that she didn't know she was murdered... so OK to stamp on someone's grave if they're not murdered... horrible, despicable and vile woman....
@KazP19 Oh, so it's OK to be despicable and have no respect for someone's passing as long as they weren't murdered then. You absolute disgusting excuse for a human being.
@PippaCrerar@Annaisaac Hmmmm.... standard procedure was carried out as it is for thousands of transfers daily... And guess what? It wasn't found to be laundered. This is a nothing story....
