Interesting read from a couple of old Gullane booklets. First greenkeeper employed by the artisan club @dirletoncastle back in 1850s. In the early 1900s staff were recruited to clear up after the grazing sheep and hand weeding. Lady legend Babe, playing @GullaneGolfClub
