Outlier originally wasn't accessible to those residing in Nigeria. But some TikTokers wanted views, created a trend exposing VPN bypasses, and blew up the loop.

The result?
The platform's algorithm caught on, and now they are mass-blocking and blacklisting accounts with Nigerian names. The clout of a few people has ruined it for thousands trying to eat.
