@jimmycthatsme “One Last Night in Austin, Texas” is a film about a closeted black college student that decides to spend one last drug fueled night with his fraternity brothers on the eve of his graduation. We are also currently in pre-pro for our next film “The Recruit”

Really thought we had a chance with the #thefilmfund especially considering it’s just one sentence to submit. At least a diverse group of filmmakers were selected 😗🙄

Regardless of the surprisingly unprofessional nature of some highly recognized, and Oscar qualifying, film festivals we are so happy with the results and feedback we’ve gotten from our film “One Last Night in Austin, Texas”! And with a ton more to hear back from!

[DirtyWorks Productions @dirtyworksprod]

Hey @Raindance thanks so much for discussing our film “[Film Title]”
Definitely feel like we were considered with great interest.
Really makes you wonder as an indie filmmaker if your films are even being watched. Incredibly unprofessional.

[DirtyWorks Productions @dirtyworksprod]

Dear film festivals, changing your notification date THE DAY OF is completely unprofessional

[DirtyWorks Productions @dirtyworksprod]

Some of these film festivals really just care about money. Thinking of making a thread of all the worst ones we’ve encountered the last 18 months.

[DirtyWorks Productions @dirtyworksprod]

I’m so tired of film festivals pushing back notification dates the day of. Like come on…

[DirtyWorks Productions @dirtyworksprod]

Another one!

[DirtyWorks Productions @dirtyworksprod]

First selection down! About 46 more to hear back from!

[DirtyWorks Productions @dirtyworksprod]

47 film festivals to submit to tonight

Just received word that our rough cut for our upcoming film is done! Would love to see if we can get to 1K followers today too (we'll follow back)! Let us know your friday accomplishments. #WritingCommunity #writerslift #books #poetry #scripts #plays #promofriday

Emailing festival directors to clarify their programming before the rough cut is even done.
Very “50k for a verse no album out” energy.

Less than 24 hours until we shoot

[DirtyWorks Productions @dirtyworksprod]

Just 4 days out from shooting. How our production team is handling issues at the moment 😅

[DirtyWorks Productions @dirtyworksprod]

6 more days until we begin shooting “One Last Night in Austin, Texas”!!!
