In the UK, 14% of menopausal women are prescribed HRT and, in areas of deprivation, it’s as low as 2%. Now if this was the total percentage of women who wanted HRT, that would be fine. But we know it’s not.

Every day I hear from women both from the UK and other countries who aren’t being given a choice and are unable to have HRT prescribed for them without a good reason. We know HRT is safe and beneficial for the majority of menopausal women and the guidelines are clear; HRT is the first line treatment to manage menopausal symptoms for most women, so I don’t understand why so many women are being denied this treatment - often being offered antidepressants instead.

I will not stop my work until we have helped more women access the care and treatment they want and deserve.

Sending families through a daunting court process for one small savings account isn���t working. There is a compelling need for a simpler process.

@HealthRegLawyer @MedCasey @British_Airways You are not ‘ unfixable ‘ it’s a primitive brain response to a perceived or learned fear , I have had very good results treating clue with a fear of flying using a combination NLP and hypnosis, you do have to however believe it is possible to change 🥰
