Paxlovid is associated with reduced risk for long COVID, severe Covid, and additional complications for all who contract sars-covid-2.

@lizgross144 I used to work for Emory University and I’ve never seen this, not once. Every negotiation is made in good faith, as far as I’ve observed or participated in. Are the salaries too low and there is zero promotion potential for non-faculty jobs? Yes, absolutely. No fake offers tho.

@kadamssl What more do you want us public health folks to do? We’ve been harassed while all of our recommendations/knowledge have been dismissed… we’re still doing our jobs. We led mitigation strategy development. I can offer guidance on masks. Ask your elected officials about policies.

Decades of aggressive marketing of breastmilk substitutes have led to significant reductions in rates of exclusive #breastfeeding.

However, rates of exclusive breastfeeding are 20% higher in countries that have legislation substantially aligned with the International Code of Marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes than in countries without it.  

And continuation of breastfeeding in the first two years of life is more than twice as high when the legislation is substantially aligned with the Code.

Let’s put a stop to the commercialization of our children’s health. It’s time to end exploitative marketing.

@PinstripeBungle Oh I used to have to fight (only American working for save the children in Sudan at the time) for colleagues work visas. I am appalled a the judgements some of the visa officers made.
