Stop feeding fears to your faith; feed faith to your fears without fainting. Having faith in yourself is vanity, but having faith in the LORD is victory.
1 Timothy 4:11-13 (KJV) These things command and teach.
Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.
1 Timothy 1:6-8 (KJV) From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;
Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.
But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;
@JackRader13@GrantHorvatGolf Not necessarily, most golfers make the mistake of trying to develop a feel without a focal point. The smaller the focal point the better the feel. I aim and putt through my index fingertip which helps me to project lines through my fingertip which transfers through the ball.
1 Thessalonians 1:4-5 (KJV) Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God.
For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.
Luke 21:35-36 (KJV) For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
Psalms 71:1-3 (KJV) In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.
Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me.
Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.
1 John 2:15-17 (KJV) Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
1 John 2:5-6 (KJV) But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
Romans 13:13-14 (KJV) Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
One thing that I've realized on my journey, is that the gospel will reach who it was meant to reach; the Lord has to open the door for someone to perceive Him in hopes of them being converted.
You are right about the church not being a building; the Lord chooses His elect and we don't get to elect and chose ourselves without the Lord's consent.
Scott is beholden to the church institution and traditions, AND have received the wrong gospel because if you understood who the church is he would reexamine his gospel.
Traditional churches aren't experiencing salvation this is why self-anointing is prevalent and without a testimony; many can share their calling testimony but I have NEVER heard an election testimony.
"Many are called but few are chosen," but you have those that were called operating as those that were chosen, this is deception and reeks of the spirit of error.
If a pastor doesn't have an election testimony that congregation is a congregation of the dead.
Brother Paul encourages us to test the spirit, demand their election/chosen testimony. The error and deception will become obvious
Frank and many other pastors don't understand the gospel that they preach.
The Lord confirms our election/salvation; many Christians don't get to experience salvation for self-righteous reasons in addition to their reception of the wrong gospel.
Confirmation is biblical but not being taught which isn't a coincidence; you have to be self-righteous to claim salvation without the Lord's consent.
"Many are called but few are chosen," as it is written. The age old problem with the church institution is that you have the "called" operating as the chosen. Those called can share the gospel but edification and teaching is for the Lord's elect/chosen/remnant or scattered people, which are the church and not the church institution that is common today.
The current church institutions are congregations of the dead because they are beholden to manmade culture and traditions despite being warned against it repeatedly.
There's a famine of the word but Christians which are among the heathens won't be able to discern it because you remain carnally minded while claiming to be spiritual, deceiving and being deceived.
Calling testimony and election testimony are NOT the same experience; calling without election is a recipe for false prophets and teachers.
Isn't ironic how anyone can anoint themselves, God will not be mocked
The entire church institution is desolate and congregations of the dead, as it is written.
The church are the Lord's chosen people whom He elects but the spirit of error has deceived many Christians whom are claiming salvation without the Lord's consent or election testimony.
Christians are conflating their "calling" with being chosen and elected despite scripture stating that "many are called but few are CHOSEN."
Many pastors are preaching with a testimony of their "calling" but I have yet to hear an election/chosen testimony coming from traditional churches, which isn't a coincidence.
Salvation/election is an unmistakable experience that aligns with scripture; the sad part is that some Christians know that the Lord's elect are the church yet they don't exercise any diligence by testing the spirit of their pastors; no election testimony signifies false teachings and prophecy no matter how benevolent it may appear. Not everything professed in Jesus name is of godly origins.
Get out of the congregation of the dead and learn who is the church. All this is written but those of you who are parishing will continue in the vanity of your minds about the Lord.
The Holy Ghost bears witness to my message to the Lord's people; wake up.
This pastor doesn't understand the gospel that he preaches.

I encourage EVERY Christian to ask your pastors for their chosen confirmation/confession/election testimony because if don't have their election testimony they shouldn't be teaching.
Many having their calling testimony to share BUT "many are called but few are chosen."
A church is not a church without the Lord's chosen people; I speak the truth in Christ.
2 Corinthians 7:11 (KJV) For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.
I encourage Christians to stop celebrating man-made (pagan) traditions and holidays such as birthdays, valentine's day, mother's day, father's day, Christmas, etc.
The Lord's church are His chosen people; they didn't elect or chose themselves, the Lord did.
The church institution that many Christians partake in are abominable before the Lord; yet the heathens will persist in their misunderstandings and deceptions.
Galatians 1:22-23 (KJV) And was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ:
But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed.
