Tip #4. We have all lost someone we love. Losing that person is sure to trigger us this time of year. Allow the holidays to also be a time of grief as we acknowledge the loss and them not being here to celebrate with you. Be sure to focus on the happy memories. #mentalhealth
Take 15 minutes a day to do something outside. Go throw a round of disc golf if the weather is nice, take a walk around the block, sit out in the sun. Spending time outside in the sun is known to relieve stress, improve moods, and boost your mental energy.
Tip #1 Talk to someone you trust. I promise, you are not a burden or a bother. Your family member or friend would rather have you reach out and be there to help than you suffer in silence. If talking isn't what you do best, write your feelings down. Getting them out is helpful!
Happy Sunday! With the holidays fast approaching, I wanted to start a Sunday series on how to manage your mental health this time of year. This time of year can be chaotic and isolating. Hopefully these tips will help you. As you know we are here for you. You are not alone.
