@FDG_trevor Yes it was a legitimate foot fault. Playing that shot from in front of + to the left of the proper lie provided an unfair advantage on the approach angle the throw required. He was mentally pushing the boundary of the angle needed so his foot naturally committed the foul.

After seeing the footage and hearing the discussion, I understand why people have questions about the situation. Looking back, I should have called the card over before moving any of the cut limbs in question — that’s on me. In intense moments like that you’re often already moving on from the previous shot and focusing on the next one…
@FDG_trevor I just don’t understand why no one said “I saw you behind your lie and then you walked off your disc and took several steps forward to clear debris on the other side of the tree that was in front of your disc”. Like that’s a bulletproof statement - not even an argument…
@UltiworldDG Charlie is 100% right in the leaderboard discussion - showing the field is the ONLY way. Take literally any legitimized leaderboard-oriented sport in the world and they’ll show you the full rundown a few times per broadcast. All forms of racing and of course golf practice this.
