It’s 100% okay if anyone wants to have a baby. But I will never understand why people feel the need to push something onto me or my life when I’m not ready yet. Like why?

Being married and almost 30 means almost every adult over 50 asks me when I’m going to have a baby, how many will I have, suggests how many I SHOULD have, and says that I really should try to have a boy and a girl because it’s just “better that way.” 👀

Like.. I’m just out here trying to take care of my dogs. Not have a lot of anxiety. Pay down my debt and enjoy life. Will having a baby REALLY solve or help any of those problems right now? 🙃
