Sunday's the day! Ultimate Tailgate Rib & Chili Cookoff returns 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24 downtown in the Beanblossom parking lot on West River Street off of Galena Ave. Drink specials, prizes, football, a bags tournament, and more! Admission is a $5 suggested donation.

Thank you to Franklin Creek Conservation Association for hosting the Discover Dixon team and ambassadors for a short visit and ribbon cutting at the Grist Mill! Discover Dixon is thrilled to welcome FCCA as an investor!

FCCA has helped preserve Franklin Creek and the land surrounding it for over 40 years. It leases the Franklin Creek Grist Mill from the IDNR and uses it as its base of operations. A $5 suggested donation to helps keep the building open to the public and the mill operational.
