When the World Cup victory is decided by smoother bunnyhops over the barriers. Olympic MTB champion Tom Pidcock, 22, takes his first Elite Cyclocross World Cup victory, ahead of Eli Iserbyt, 24, at Rucphen, Netherlands #CXWorldCup https://t.co/P8mUjR8pmo

So proud of this guy! Been quietly working hard in New Zealand for the past 12 months, focusing on giving everything to a big year on the road for the team when it’s possibly. 2nd today in the Cycling New Zealand 🇳🇿 National Road Chsmps behind George Bennett of Jumbo Visma!
Today’s ‘must read’, @CallumSkinner on @BBCSport, the side of sport we rarely hear about, where our champions are expected to be flawless superbeings, but whatever we do in life, we’re still humans & we all try to hide our internal troubles from others.

Mark Cavendish normalised winning multiple stages of the Tour year after year for an entire generation of fans.

He is the greatest sprinter of all time.
Apparently @EF broke @UCI_cycling rules today with new kit. A wee bit quackers in my book as it has created interest. Eggsactly what we need in out sport. Could be an expensive bill if this keeps up...our governing body needs to go with the times and stop being trapped in past...
Anna Shackley 25th in Worlds at 19 years of age, I’m old enough to remember when any UK rider getting a top 25 in the Worlds was greeted with a gasp of awe. What a ride, and also while likely in service of Deignan. Chapeau indeed. @AnnaShackley12
