Firstly people need to understand the difference between art and entertainment!
Art is created to satisfy the artist's ego.
Entertainment is created for an audience.

Most artists make a mix of art AND entertainment because they need an audience to make a living, which allows them to create art.

Art and entertainment are like cookies and cakes.
One is not better than the other, and it is beneficial to all of mankind to have a large variety of both cookies AND cakes to choose from!!!
