My opinion on war, peace and some possible solutions

Do you feel that some people really manipulate people in the name of war and peace?

Certain people/ governments/ organisations create violence. There is usually some kind of retaliation.

Many people, then have opinions.

A lot of people get hurt, many people get angry.

But tell me something, if 100 students are angry- what are they spreading? If you are angry inside, are you not spreading anger outside?

Let’s just say today you are Israeli or Palestinian or Russian or Ukrainian… would not the answer be that you as one of these countries’ people find people from the other side and show the world that actually, we stand together! Eat together, posts videos of friendships with each other, meals with each other: show your governments and the world that you’re not falling for this divisive bullshit.

Till when will people keep falling for delusions and hate created by vested interests, that profit from war, make money from war and suffering and killing?

I recently made a new Palestinian friend and it made me realize that I didn’t really know why this whole conflict began. I was invited to a lunch at a co-working space recently and there was an Israeli person there as well. In this co-working space, the Palestinian person and the Israeli person are friends. I ended up sitting with the Israeli person at some point and asked him to explain to me, how this conflict began.

He said a colonial power, I think the British, promised both the parties the same land without telling each other. This created the conflict.

Similar story as India, Pakistan and Kashmir and I’m guessing countless such stories exist elsewhere.

Same divide and rule. Same dividing and ruling and creating hate and division among people who have much more in common than the colonial powers that created the tension.

Same story, same delusion, same deception. Same creating hate, war, suffering, death and making profits from it.

I really pray for a world that wakes up, stops falling for the deception and lies and where each individual truly develops peace, love and healthy boundaries within, because I believe that’s the only way we’ll have peace, love and healthy boundaries without.
