@Syrphoideaa@nikonight1@kitchentongue like the man made some mistakes. let him learn, because nobody can learn without making mistakes. nobody needs to be flamed as much as striker is being flamed
@Syrphoideaa@nikonight1@kitchentongue people always assume i’m supporting him when i just play devils advocate and say why he might have done things the way he did and say that he isn’t a bad person.
like the people who hate him are worse than him imo. they only want someone to hate
@nikonight1@kitchentongue and also all the pressure from everyone else as well saying he's a bad person when he just wanted to do this to have fun and never expected it to get huge
yet people wonder why he didnt respond well
@wantpinksweater@kitchentongue i dont think he "constantly" messaged him, and only did it a few times. i dont think that's unreasonable when you want to make sure you arent hurting the family.
other than that, i agree 100%.
@keilamity@kitchentongue i dont think he pressured technodad at all. he only reached out to get his opinion on things, and then everyone made a whole situation around him.
i think the situation pressured technodad more than striker himself, personally.
@PhEoNiXScar_@FaultyGeist@brotherharryy right. he isn't sure what he exactly thinks yet. he's said he knows it would have been flattering to techno and he compares it to a tribute band.
putting words in technodad's mouth like "he's clearly uncomfortable with it" when he said he isn't sure does more harm than good.
@maisiebugzzz@oppo1012701 100%.
he does charity streams and hasnt even turned monetization on because technodad hasnt said he could. if it wasnt this guy, it would have been someone else.
and i dont think anyone else would have been as respectful about it as technolarp has been.
@maisiebugzzz if everyone was just able to be respectful and give good criticism, this whole situation would be different. but no, they have to believe technolarp is this massive villain.
he's 20 and sounds like techno so he made the channel. probably didnt think about how it could seem bad
@GlowChips@bunnygrl1114@brotherharryy charlie was the first to get technolarp fully mainstream (outside of the MCYT community from skeppy's video with him) so he should have done the common courtesy research to understand everything, and possibly have an obligatory disclaimer to not harass the person.
@GlowChips@bunnygrl1114@brotherharryy right, because that creator should know that they can cause stuff like what's happening now, like technolarp being doxxed.
even if they dont agree with it, they should know that is a possibility.

@GlowChips@bunnygrl1114@Newvoltee@brotherharryy of course. i strive for civil discussion and am neutral even if i like anybody being discussed. civil discussions are nice, because arguments are always people insulting each other. and nobody listens to someone else when they throw insults at the other person
@bunnygrl1114@GlowChips@Newvoltee@brotherharryy also: he's done charity streams, i dont think anybody else who would have possibly became technolarp would have raised money for charity.
he's done good despite doing something objectively morally wrong.
@bunnygrl1114@GlowChips@Newvoltee@brotherharryy he didnt take it seriously because he honestly didnt need to. he never meant to be disrespectful. he originally wanted to make fans happy.
he's a techno fan who sounded like him and hopped on a trend. never expected to get as big as he is. probably never realized his fame tbh.
@bunnygrl1114@GlowChips@Newvoltee@brotherharryy my main issue with this situation is how far people took it, even going as far as to dox technolarp and threaten his family. i wouldnt have minded people criticizing him for the channel, but he doesn't deserve harassment.

@FaultyGeist@PhEoNiXScar_@brotherharryy it's even getting to the larptubers close to technolarp, mainly those in the larp smp he made. they all do this for fun because they love the people they're larping. it never should have gone this far.
