@RachelKaplan4 @BipolarClubDx I understand the idea is perapective, but if someone is comforted by the reminder that others are suffering more than them, I think they should see a psychiatrist.
More likely it will just add guilt and shame to the list of things they're upset about.
@Clementine5000 For the most part I try to avoid set goals. I csnt fail whst I don't try, or lose whst I don't hsve. I dont recommend this strategy.
I totally understand the decision paralysis thing. It being lost. I hate.
I hsve no suggestions, only comiseration 🫂
I'm officially older than my bf was when he died. We were supposed to hang out for the rest of my life. It's been 6½ years and I still sometimes forget hes gone and it feels like he's just in the other room.
Happy birthday to me, I guess.
@ordinarydrudge In my experience, it is doesnt end. It doesnt get easy, but it gets easier to live with. Sometimes its a soft aching nostalgia, sometimes its a gaping wound, but eventually, somehow, we adapt to it, and don't always notice it
@librarydrudge Welp, there's nothing shameful in needing help, nothing shameful in asking for help & nothing shameful in accepting/receiving help.
Looks like a lot of nothing to be ashamed of 😊
@jeanne_midtowns Thank you. We said goodbye today. I can't believe it . I know it was the right thing to do and it's been time for a few days. But I want him back
I need some "it will be okay"s please? My cat had a seizure, im at the vet ER right now waiting. What if hes dying? What if i caused it? I csnt lose him, how will his brother cope? What if theyre both sick? It might be okay though right? He can still be okay?
