Woke up to a temp ban on #IOTA discord. Without any explanation or message from the team, I presume it’s for sharing the screenshot of Dom’s Shimmer post with you and daring to ask why smart contracts have not been delivered on the mainnet after all these years.

Banning community members without explanation, unilaterally changing the supply without a vote and saying community tokens don’t work…decentralisation seems further then ever with IOTA.

If we are not pursuing decentralisation then why we here? We are not here to be exit liquidity for private investors.

So, this is where I bow out #IOTA fam. #IOTA has been a big part of my life for 7 years. The last couple years I’ve been spending weekends and a lot late nights making YT videos, researching IOTA, interacting with people on discord and twitter to help spread the message and the benefits of #IOTA. I was soo passionate about IOTA and an equitable and decentralised future. Unfortunately, IOTA appears to be heading in the wrong direction. The basic fundamentals have still not been provided to the mainnet and we getting less and less information about how the IF operates and it’s private investors.

It’s also unfortunate that content creators are not supported and are at times actively pushed away from #IOTA, despite the amount of time they volunteer for totally free to try and make #IOTA a success. I can’t recommend you do it. Well sadly there is one less today. But it’s their project so I respect the IF’s choice to make the environment it wants.

Finally, the community and community devs are by far the best part of #IOTA. You guys are rockstars. I never met soo passionate people. I will genuinely miss many of you and thank you all for such a great 2 years on here and YT. I’ve learnt a lot from you all. I hope IOTA is a huge success for you. You all absolutely deserve it.

My seat is still reserved on the yacht, so maybe one day we will all cross paths again in Moonaco.

They also don't have any tokens at all. They only have $SMR, of which presumably both Nakama and the Iota Foundation have a lot, right?

Or the real question. How much of the current ShimmerEVM TVL and transactions are directly from Nakama/IF?
