You can’t blame Orbán for being Orbán and be surprised that he uses Hungary’s veto power in the EU for blackmailing.

The EU had 10+ years to stand up to him, it did not.

For example, a successful Article 7 procedure would’ve stripped Orbán’s gov't of its EU voting rights.🤷‍♂️
