Bass, horns, guitars, piano, and trumpet are taken from BiaB, rearranged, and then I added drums, strings, vocals, synths, etc.

@izzy_marizee In life you get what you pay for. As a freelancer for over a decade (not in the music industry though) I can say that a consistent percentage of clients is aware of that — and, when I can, I tend to stay away from clients whose primary goal is the cheapest price.

Took a break from making music for a few weeks.

Upon my return, I reopened the list of gear to buy, considered absolutely necessary.

Without much surprise, I realized 95% of the items is useless, redundant or unnecessary.

Am I recovered from the gear acquisition syndrome?

Recently, when making music, I’ve tried to move out of the box using a #DAWless setup.

I’ve tried some external hardware, in the end it looks like I’ve found a good DAWless setup… using a DAW 🤔.
