@Batonite Sigh. This is the last thing I'll say on this
More eyes = Bad. For *everyone,* including him. The best way to maximize loss of support is to increase the pool of people to potentially revoke it
More important: Regardless who's right, who has proof of what, this is irresponsible
@Batonite It's a good thing no one said Gem punched them in the face 🤷🏻♀️
This is beside the point. Bring hard proof, or say nothing. Can't prove the negative? Say nothing. You asked, you said "genuinely," this is my answer.
@Batonite I would also like to point out that, unless I'm missing something on a platform other than twitter, no one has made any proper accusations, and therefore have nothing to prove. AND, again, multiple people in the splatoon community who know what happened shared the sentiment
@Batonite Realistically, nothing. 0 response whatsoever. Responding publicly can only make it worse for everyone unless you are going to come with specific points and hard proof-- and even then, a lot of the time it's still not worth it. That varies person to person, obviously.
@Strati_Gem And really, truly, even in the world where everything you said in this thread is true:
Posting a tweet like this on one popular account and retweeting it on an even bigger one IS a community safety issue. More rumors spreading, more people fighting with each other... It's bad.
@Strati_Gem This reads like DARVO. This feels like DARVO, to me, as an uninformed observer on this public platform on which you've brought many more eyes to this private issue. No matter what actually happened, this tweet fucking sucks, and I really recommend reflecting on why you posted it
@Strati_Gem Multiple people in your community have alluded to whatever the situation is being pretty damning re: that stream concept, as well as your ex. So like, if they're hypothetically ALL misrepresenting something... This Is Not How I Would Address That Sort Of Issue, Personally
i wish i had recorded the splatoon game i had a little while ago wherein i (a hydra) and a squiffer accidentally mirrored each other through a startlingly long sequence and ended up killing each other
what a magical exchange
1. we shoot at each other, we both miss
2. we both swim to the same corner, kind of hiding kind of chasing each other
3. we quickly charge shots from either side of a short ledge
4. we both die
