Today, I finished reading Bhagavad Gita๐ For the past 1 year ,I used to read everyday 1 or 2 verses as time would permit.
It is so profound, that reading it once is not enough to internalize and understand the depth of its teachings.
What my limited heart and mind has understood is - our Karma,Jnana and Bhakti has to be aligned, if we are seekers of life energy and its ultimate meaning.๐ ๐ชท๐

Is cutting tree in the name of development justified??? Do we need flyover in Dighalipukhuri, Guwahati, at the cost of deforestation? I am sure without cutting also, we can work out other options.

I honestly am failing to understand the reason for so many flyovers when the traffic woes have increased manifold?? The beauty of our city was its greenery. Not to talk about what environmental disaster we will face / facing with felling of trees.
Extremely sad that @mygovassam is planning to extend the Noonmati-GNB Road flyover to Dighalipukhuri. The historical Dighalipukhuri area with its great expanse of hundreds of years old trees will face the cruel axe to make way for the totally unnecessary flyover which can be stopped at the TC school roundabout. The character of a city lies in its physical history and to tamper with it is mindless. The openness of the Dighalipukhuri area will be ruined forever. I hope good sense prevails with @CMOfficeAssam and an alternative will be found to safeguard the beauty and grandeur of Dighalipukhuri.
