@RockstarSupport It is now working for me, I reinstalled the game in its entirety onto my SSD and when error code 149 popped up I just started going hog wild on the Play button, and got in. Thank you, seriously. I'm extremely relieved.

@SamVaisica @RockstarSupport It looks like they beta tested the game, but not the launcher. If they just removed the launcher and let the DRM inside of the game/Social Club do its work, there'd be no complaints. Launcher plague needs to end.

@MalcoImm @Saragciab @RockstarSupport we're all (I assume you've got the same issues as me) waiting on them to admit their Launcher isn't beta tested for the systems that their game is, and that they need to let us access our game without it. Which I'm having trouble picturing tbh. Here's hoping

@HashiramaOff @RockstarSupport BIOS pushes should NEVER be a fix for a video game. That being said, I did do BIOS update last night and it didn't do anything. I am one of the unlucky ones, sadly.

@TwinCascade @james_morris85 @RockstarSupport I think frustration is natural, and venting it is natural; once it is fixed, the frustration will end and so shall the venting. Telling people they shouldn't expect their game to launch on launch day- not Online, but the actual .exe for my game- isn't helpful.

@james_morris85 @TwinCascade @RockstarSupport Exactly. Literally all they had to do was not install this secondary program on my computer that locks my actual purchased content from me. At the very least, they could have beta tested their launcher.

@ReaperNation92 @RockstarSupport This is exactly the issue; they didn't beta test their intrusive shitty launcher. Just remove the necessary check via launcher- there's DRM in-game, and in Social Club too.

@HashiramaOff @RockstarSupport They need to just remove the DRM check for the launcher, or let us launch the game from exe/without Rockstar launcher, and it wouldn't happen anymore. It's literally this one line of code that's ruining this.
