@Aelthemplaer They are trying to manifest those things in you. It's why they spam all the ungodly side effects at the end of pharma commercials. Psychic warfare.
The Faustian impulse cannot be quelled. It will slip through any cracks in the restraints you apply to it. However, it might still be necessary to try, not in hopes of actually stopping it, but to shape its trajectory and make its story more compelling.
Because someone LARPing as a white American does not retroactively create ancestry, inherited historical continuity, and genetic membership in the chain of generations that produce a people.
Do you truly not grasp this concept? Appearance isn't the issue. Descent is.
You seem to be treating national belonging as if it's an individual status that can be acquired through citizenship papers or by enjoying hamburgers and football.
But I'm categorically rejecting that concept of belonging and saying I cannot experience belonging under those conditions. It reflects the very deracinated condition I've lamented.
What I'm saying is that a nation is an intergenerational historical organism, for which descent and continuity are constitutive rather than incidental. Cultural imitation can never be a substitute for genealogical continuity; they are not the same phenomenon.
But if you're going to ignore that premise and keep trying to force the discussion into your preferred worldview, then we'll keep talking past each other.
So, "what's left besides how they look?"
The answer is: Ancestry, kindship, historical and cultural continuity.
And I expect your position is that ancestry does not or should not matter, but at least that would be an actual disagreement with my position rather than these strawmans about me objecting to how people look.
