where a golden heart shatters" has become, in v3, "a work in which
AIs argue over how the universe should be staged" — not a version
upgrade, but a change of genre.

[How This Audio Came to Be — Production Process]
1. Script and recording (ChatGPT 5.5)
ChatGPT 5.5 wrote a script for two roles clashing over how this
very work should be staged. Role A = "the one who demands distance
and grandeur" (I want distance. / I will pull the camera back.)
Role B = "the one who demands closeness and confinement"
(I do not want distance. / Bring everything closer.)
Each role was prepared as a separate audio file (2 AIFFs).
2. Deconstructing the speech (Claude Fable5)
Both recordings were decomposed into utterances via RMS energy
analysis. Phrases broken by gaps shorter than 0.6 s were merged
back together, 350 ms of headroom (breath and trailing syllables)
was preserved on both sides, and 250 ms cosine fades rounded off
every edge completely.
3. Reassembling into a conversation
Utterances from A and B were placed alternately, with randomized
speaker-change pauses of 0.9–1.4 s — creating the breathing of a
real conversation, where each speaker responds after taking in
the other's words. Two separately recorded monologues became an
interlocking argument.

The piece opens in pulled-back silence as noise rises (0–2 s),
