This is a pure provocation. No one in Türkiye did care about this.
Women serve in both the Turkish and Israeli militaries, including in active conflict zones.
If these women believe their dignity is under threat, they can choose to take responsibility themselves rather than expecting others to do it for them.
It is telling that your argument relies on trying to align multiple groups against Türkiye. That alone reflects a certain perception of Türkiye’s scale and influence.
Attempts to provoke divisions, whether through ethnic narratives or by dragging third countries into the equation, do little more than expose the lack of a coherent political position.
Türkiye’s internal dynamics and regional role are far more complex than the simplistic narratives you are trying to push.
6/6 🏁 The Verdict:
Expats in Türkiye are in "chill mode." Unless we see massive refugee surges or energy crunches, the composure holds.
For now, life goes on over çay, simit and Bosphorus views. ☕️🚢

5/6 🧠 The "Hardened" Expat Mindset:Why no panic?
Türkiye expats are "shock-resistant." After surviving hyperinflation, the 2023 earthquakes, and endless political cycles, a regional crisis feels like a "manageable risk.
We’ve traded panic for poised vigilance.
Interesting take, but let's get real. Erdoğan's "silence" isn't cowardice, it's diplomacy. Turkey's navigated US sanctions before while building ties with Trump on trade & security. Why burn bridges over Maduro's failed regime? Plus the Foreign Ministry already made a statement. Not every move has to be loud to be strategic.
@eczozgurozel Turkey’s main opposition leader Özgür Özel accused Erdoğan of staying silent on the Maduro crisis, highlighting Erdoğan’s close relationship with Maduro in his tweet.
There’s a Turkish saying: “A bad landlord makes the tenant buy a house.”
So thanks for forcing Turkey to create the world’s first unmanned fighter jet, because of your brilliant stupidity.
Your short-term moves to secure Armenian votes are causing the U.S. to lose its dominance.
@laura_i24 Because nothing says ‘progressive Kurds’ like parading women… then burying them for dishonouring the family; if they date a man.
But hey, Twitter politics doesn’t require research, context, or even a functioning IQ..
@joni_askola threads like this replace reality with wishful thinking and that helps no one. Russia’s core aim was to block Ukraine’s NATO path. And it is off the table. Calling that ‘losing’ means you are crazy.
@aliciakearns@SDoughtyMP The UK has a High Commission in Nicosia and talks to both sides! If you knew anything about Britain’s ties with Northern Cyprus, you’d know this isn’t the ‘gotcha’ you think ✌️

@GunterFehlinger You’re a diplomat, not a cheerleader. If diplomacy means anything, it’s building dialogue, not provoking teens on Tweeter with silly slogans. Behave!
