We hope the administration understands that we have done the work that not only President Raymond refused to do, but also the generations of white folk in power who have found it morally and ethically acceptable to ignore the demands and needs of the most marginalized people.

To BIPOC in particular, bringing up the sentiments from Fred Moten’s and Nia Love’s teach-in yesterday, there is a general strike enacted by and in our bodies everyday. In Moten’s words, “the strikes not gonna end; it’s just gonna transform about how we believe in each other"

Although this fight is within the walls of an elite academic institution, remember that this fight is ushered by working class BIPOC everyday on the ground. Continue to show up, uplift and fight for the communities most marginalized by oppressive, settler-colonial structures.
