@tomkrcha@tomkrcha loving @pencildev Can desktop connect to VS Code (GH Copilot) for the agent use rather than only inside VS?
Design suggestion - boost the icon and typography sizes, allow for ordering of the variables, add in MCP variable merge rather than replace all.
With the important caveat that it is *remote* MCP server only (will get monetized). That’s how https://t.co/BdXpR1rrBf is as well. It should be a CLI local to desktop.
@bmptrsn@figma It should be as simple as any 3d package for surface or spline editing. Loop, edge, and all sorts of selections are standard curve editing actions. I think Figma uses cubic bezier and that should be easy to implement.
@tommyjmarshall@4rcherhume This is similar how I’ve done this. I used binary but now would stream and use something like csv-parser. Load it into Crossfilter.js which, at the time, was exceptionally fast at handling the filter/search/selection of data. There are better options now for that.
@ip__gm Confusion about basic things is fairly rampant due to democratization and, in no small measure, a culture of attention seeking.
Related, I see Figma ‘did I cook?’ skeuomorphic at a half quality of something like Reason or Photoshop work from 2006. They just don’t know. 😆
@rogie I’m old school here. After years in Maya and other apps that have hotboxes or context-sensitive gestural menus, there’s a ton of prior art in this space that the team can explore that’s better than a fixed menu bar at the bottom of the screen.
