På område efter område tvingas man nu, två steg efter den samlade borgerligheten, medge att man haft fel på punkt efter punkt: kring migrationen, integrationen, Nato, kärnkraften, flumskolan, språkkrav för utrikes födda. Listan kan göras oändlig och vittnar om orsaken till det höga tonläget - vänstern har inte bara varit blinda inför samhällsutvecklingen utan också oförmögna att i ett tidigt stadium driva på för förändring. Faktum är att högern, i samtliga ovannämnda frågor, tagit initiativet och tvingat Socialdemokraterna till omprövning. Högern har därmed inte bara haft rätt, utan också fått rätt vilket är betydligt viktigare för den som önskar se förändring.
