@Econimica @NewsLambert So many people I know have second (and third) homes. Spent the weekend in the mountains, almost all the houses are empty. Many people live in one State but are a resident in Florida.

@TXMCtrades The US is also really good at fabricating businesses and processes which add no value but generate hundreds of thousands of jobs (many of which are outsourced). For example: PBM's in the Healthcare industry, Insurance Company's and subsequent billing/administration burden.

@ThHappyHawaiian Other countries negotiated drug prices in mass, so they paid less and drug manufacturers still made a profit. Trump's EO is just a piggyback off of negotiations done by other governments. PBM's, and other middlemen, mark up drugs without any benefit due to the lack of regulation.

@jamieamartin1 @arpitrage The alternative is often putting a tablet in front of the kid for 8 hours while the parents work. Even when that is not the case the children build social skills that help them later on. I can tell which kids in the neighborhood don't go to daycare just based on behavior.

@Hermod_Hermit @ThHappyHawaiian POTUS isn't the one doing the negotiating, other countries are. But in any case no, our taxes don't go to paying for those like it does for Healthcare. Healthcare has also been completely destroyed and filled with unnecessary fluff and profit making in the US.

The 90-second outage just before 4 a.m. included the loss of radar coverage, a source tells me. A separate source says the facility lost radar AND radio.

@TexasOncologist It's a headache to even collect from some Medicaid programs. Some we have to file on paper and hand write a bunch of nonsense on the claim form, 45 days later no claim on file. We file again and it's past timely. Or the nightmare in California, can't even figure out who to bill.

"Who taught you how to parent?" So, no? Exactly why we need walkable streets. It was normal decades ago, b4 cars!

It's still 8x as dangerous for your 11 and 12 yo. Every year hundreds of teens die, but of course your kids are smart.
