We are dedicating this #InternationalWomensDay2022 issue to the theme of FINDING OUR FUTURE in recognition of the fact that world events affect women and men differently.
It is our ambition to promote new talents and voices.
Celebrating #InternationalWomensDay2022 with open call ! New theme: FINDING OUR FUTURE
Building on the success of "Women and Covid, A Gendered Pandemic", we open our zine and platform to new, emerging & established voices working in graphic narrative, poetry & illustration.

Excited that @distant_connect work will be featured at @graphicmedicine's Unconvention on August 15, 2021. Our latest zine is called "A gendered pandemic". We should have known women would be particularly hard hit by the pandemic. But their past experiences were not recorded.
One of the few good things to come out of the lockdown last year was @distant_connect – a collective of artists from Europe, the US and China who met during the 2020 lockdown and have so far produced two zines about life during the pandemic with plans for more coming soon.
