@Isabellaaleo I think it is a mix of both. Social media has definitely provided me with positive insights on certain topics and has sometimes inspired me. However, I also feel like it impacted me negatively since I compare myself to what is being portrayed on the media.

@BeatriceRacane3 I have personally never had a bad experience on social media. I do know that many peoples have gotten their identities stolen as fake accounts have been created with the same profile pictures and content that they have on their actual account

@BeatriceRacane3 It depends what I am viewing. Sometimes I see inspiring videos which empower me. On the other hand, sometimes social media can create self comparisons to whatever i am viewing which puts me down more than anything.

@KarimElGhorayeb I agree! cyber bullying should be taught at younger ages. Especially now many children have access to social media or even video games where they can speak virtually and cyber bullying has become more common

We definitely need more educational workshops and lessons to educate parents, children and the overall population about the privacy risks that come with digital technology and how you can best avoid it
