When I think of Reformed Theology, I don’t primarily think of 5 points, or even sovereignty per se. I think of the incomprehensibly glorious God and His great mercy to sinners, I think of the centrality of Christ, I think of union with Christ, I think of the local church.
The so-called “Five Points of Calvinism” divorced from their proper place within the larger theological context of the Reformed Confessions become merely points of controversy. Since they were a response from the Synod of Dort to the 5 points of the Arminian remonstrants.
