@adhd_ffs Did this recently at a friend’s wedding - got there then realised the card and wedding money were at my house, 3 hours away. Turned out to be a blessing as I later discovered that the notes of cash all had elaborate dicks drawn on them, entering the queens mouth. #silverlinings
@AuntimusPrime@AskADHD Sounds like a perfect time to get really absorbed in something that absolutely does not need to be done, not urgently, not ever. Build a fence, rearrange the furniture, propagate cuttings from some cool plants you find. You can loop back to relevant and important things later 💛
@jamespeshaw@NZSeaRise Can someone please create a version of this map with an overlay of average property value? Keen to get an understanding of which year the elite will finally begin to care.
@adhd_ffs I have an alarm to remind me to get dressed. I think my alarm app is broken though. It does make my phone vibrate and ring loudly, but then two hours later, I’m still in pajamas?
@haziethompson Self care tip for chronically ill folk: Take control. Pull yourself up by your bootstraps. Get a corrupt, entitled middle-aged white supportman, learn tax evasion and fraud. Use your new-found privilege to improve your life at the cost of others’ welfare. Own your journey.
@shelby_bellz As the person who commented on another tweet of yours a few days ago saying how household chores can be “fun games” for kids, I just want to say I sincerely and deeply apologise and I owe you a year’s worth of free plumbing services 😅🤣🥲
@agraciek The only way to resolve this is to transform it from a keyboard warrior argument into a physical fight. Ramming someone with a weaponised stroller vs having your hands free for endless forms of martial combat - which is superior? Let’s find out.
@JamesGreenthumb @adhd_ffs @AskADHD Congratulations! Technically, me too 😊 I have the combined type, but with more inattentive type symptoms than hyperactive type symptoms.
@dan_abramov Go through my mail, email, voicemail, and social media messages. Trash the trash. Prioritise and summarise the important into a to-do list. Drip feed me tiny tasks and give me treats when I complete each one.
@JamesGreenthumb @adhd_ffs @AskADHD Kind of! 8-yr-old me wasn’t running around the classroom jumping on desks and throwing scissors like a lolly scramble, I was restlessly staring out the window or making secret mud model worlds under the table. If my H was bigger, it wouldn’t have taken 31 years to get diagnosed🙃
