@lardentedc Caesar: 16.5/25. Definitely one of the best dressings I’ve had so far! Also highly recommend the chocolate mousse for dessert.
I wonder if Barack and Michelle tried the Caesar last week… 🤔
A very unique twist on the Tijuana Caesar from @RepublicCantina! Definitely not a classic Caesar, but delicious. 17/25 (but it could be considered 17/20 bc it’s vegan so we could take out the anchovy category altogether).
Brookland’s Finest
Grilled Caesar: “White Anchovy, Pecorino Romano cheese, Croutons, boiled egg” ($12): 20/25
So much to say it had to go on 2 pages. Despite being grilled, I loved it!! And it’s our first 20-point salad so far! And I highly recommend the bacon mac & cheese!
Alright friends, FINALLY making it to Brookland’s Finest tonight after so many folks recommended it. Obviously will be having the Caesar, despite my skepticism of grilled lettuce (keeping an open mind!), but what else do I need to try??
And I think the yogurt is very interesting! I know it’s a common creamy dressing base, but I don’t think I’ve (at least knowingly) had it in Caesar before. And for those curious, the nutrition binder can be found here: https://t.co/iolf1flWEQ
Honestly, I was not expecting a chain Caesar to be this good, but absolutely loved the Farmhouse Caesar from @sweetgreen!! Ordered from the 14th & W St. location. 🥗
18/25
I will note many chains and bottled dressings don’t use anchovy as a separate ingredient. They commonly omit or use Worcestershire sauce (likely to appeal to more palettes or in case of allergies). Anchovy is listed as an ingredient in the Caesar recipe in the SG nutrition binder
Caesar from a beautiful little beachside restaurant on Anna Maria Island from my trip to Florida 😊🏖 (I promise I’m back to DC Caesars this week!)
Sandbar Seafood & Spirits Caesar Salad ($9): 16.5/25
🚨Calling all Florida people!!🚨
Where does one find a great Caesar in the Tampa/St. Pete/Sarasota region?? 🥗☀️🌊
(Any other food recs in the area appreciated as well!)
@FriendsFamilyDC@UnionMarketDC Ah, whoops meant to say I’m not the biggest fan of burrata on Caesar specifically. I love burrata! Just didn’t work here imo.
Thank you all so much for sending your DMV Caesar recs my way, can’t wait to try them! Sharing the list below!
However, I won’t be able to get to any of these for a few days bc I will be in Philly. So tell me, where does one find a great Caesar salad in Philadelphia??
