@alexandrascaggs@StolpyStolps Hey Alexandra! One thing I’ve noticed you do on here for years is antagonize the disability community and then say “but I’m just asking questions”! Autism is genetic.
Why not consider following more prominent disabled accounts?
Every mention of SNAP being frozen should include this simple fact:
TRUMP is CHOOSING TO CANCEL FOOD ASSISTANCE. There are literally emergency dollars available to keep SNAP funded.
You don’t need to be “working” to have the right to food.
Our elders, our children and folks who are disabled and unable to “work”, all deserve to be fed.
Being deemed a productive person under capitalism will not assure you are sheltered, fed and safe. Challenge that always.
Reminder that 37% of folks on SNAP are elderly and disabled, and oftentimes don’t have the ability to stand outside a food bank for hours and then carry it all home.
If you have a car, offer to give your elders and disabled neighbors a ride to the food bank.
It's deeply dystopian how AI has been billed as an app that will let you make endless videos of Pikachu when the real purpose of AI is mass surveillance in service of a police state. The tech industry has made entertainment the engine of our oppression.
There’s a whole lot of pneumonia normalizing going down in the mommy group.
‘My kids have it three times a year! Totally normal 🥰’
‘My doctor says it’s viral-induced pneumonia and kids are sick 10-12 times a year. Not to worry! Their immune system will get better. ❤️🩹’
NO.
