EFF MP Hon @niehaus_carl, speaking at the Joint Standing Committee on Defence, said Dr Malusi Gigaba’s removal from the Committee followed more than a year of demands by the EFF.

Hon Niehaus condemned the previous election process as procedurally flawed, criticised the Chairperson’s conduct and confirmed that the EFF would pursue formal complaints. He also clarified that the dispute over the joint chairperson position was an internal GNU matter and that the EFF would abstain from the election.
