Personally, I have always felt leaving children a huge inheritance is a curse.
My Dad was 101st Airborne at Normandy on D-Day. After the war, he came home and sold shoes for $2 an hour at the May Company.
Our family was “working class.” Not many Christmas gifts or vacations; however, my parents always gave us unconditional love.
And my Dad taught me priceless lessons:
“Never judge anyone based on race, creed, or religion.”
“If you can’t pay cash, you can’t have one.”
“Your reward is equal to your contribution to society.”
“Never, ever give up!”
Rather than leaving your children millions, focus on teaching them to be good human beings.
The @nba is officially the worst professional sports product on the planet. Let's call it what it is, something that used to be basketball. Take more nights off next year instead of having this dreadful, poor, and pathetic excuse for entertainment.
Michigan is now well out of the mainstream in its approach to restaurant occupancy restrictions. It is time to join every single one of our neighboring states and move forward. We have a plan. Learn more at https://t.co/WvXBflxaEE #SafeMIDining
@kenebyard what a joke that your teams can’t be playing right now. If they are bored bring them over for dinner in my restaurants that are only open at 25%, we have plenty of room!
@TheRock It’s my son Drew’s 10th birthday tomorrow. He’s a big fan and I was hoping for a shoutout here while we are in quarantine in Michigan. Watching Ballers as I tweet!
@TomBrady Greetings from Michigan. My quarantined son Drew’s 10th birthday is tomorrow. Needless to say you’re beyond his hero. Was hoping for a Happy Birthday Drew from Tom Brady! This is a picture of him from our trip to watch you beat the Cowboys back in last November! Go Bucs
