I used to say "I just know HTML & CSS" like it was a bad thing.
I sold my first 2 websites just using HTML & CSS because you can make beautiful sites with them.
Don't ever feel ashamed for not knowing everything, this is a never-ending journey of learning. 🧠

Whenever I see a “I taught myself how to code in 3 months and got a job!” tweet, I think damn. I feel like it took a few months for me to figure out how to use a for loop correctly. 😬
I'm slacking in my learning journey, so I'm thinking of changing my VS Code theme to give me the extra push I need to go back on track. Usually changes do wonders for me.
Do you have a favorite VS Code theme you'd recommend?

Remember when a For Loop was black magic?
And now you bust them out without even thinking about it
Whatever problem you're struggling with today WILL be a trivial part of your coding tomorrow (okay, maybe next month)
Keep going a focus on your successes!
I got the job!!! 🥳🥳🥳
It's a part-time position for now, with potential to go full-time depending on how things go. It's also with an amazing local company that really fits my work style and values.
I'm 261 days into #100DaysOfCode . Let this be proof that you can do it, too!
@rothecoder Heeeyy! All the oldschool ones: System of a Down, Metallica, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Sepultura, and millenial times - Nightwish, Evanescence (more on the rock side), Apocalyptica.. ❤ glad to know there's a whole community! Maybe we can meet up at some concert once the craze is over!
Sometimes when I write a code that's waay out of my league, I can't help but wonder if I'm just THAT lucky, or there was actually a point during the process at which I actually knew what I was doing...
