@Scribulatora@mikeonthebrink This. I know/knew people who experienced the 1930s in Europe, and they describe the current period in history as EXACTLY like the period before Nazi-ism. Best description I've heard... "the world is boiling, just as it was before WW2".
@stephen_taylor No. The dude creeps me out. Only took 3 times to vote in a creepy attack animal as the PC leader. Everything he says is suspect just 'cause he says it.
@scobie@Whistledowner@HqSpta No, SMARTEN up. Being loose with language causes unnecessary misunderstanding and conflict! You have a responsibility to fully appreciate your own craft. So far you are falling short.
@Scribulatora There are three neural networks: male, female, undifferentiated. One day we may fully understand and have the means to address incongruences at the brain level, but not yet. We always seem to be so hysterical about things we don't yet understand!
@MaximeBernier@JustinTrudeau You are looking in the pants for an issue that lies between the ears. There are three neural networks: male, female, undifferentiated. One day we may fully understand and have the means to address differences at the brain level, but not yet.
@Scribulatora My riding is traditionally conservative, but the last few elections have been very close. I'll work the federal campaign for the Liberals, and continue to hope that there will be better party development on the provincial level.
@Cityline One of the hallmarks of trauma is lack of perspective. Treatment helps to rebuild it, as well as a new identity as someone beyond the reach of the hurt. By that definition Harry is less than halfway through recovery.
@scobie Ducks, there is SO much revelation going on that we're still lost in the fog of war. I'm at least as concerned about misunderstandings of trauma and its treatment, and the potential loss of a national structure that has served us for 1,000 yrs.
@maggiemae362@scobie@rebootdigitalpr There's nothing "mental health" about it. It's in process perhaps, but this guy is still at the stage of splashing his misery around. In another 10 (maybe even 5) years when his escape plan disintegrates and he sees his destruction, healing may begin.
@alexberesfordTV So many disclosures that we just didn't need to know. I hope this publication was the healing catharsis Harry seems to have needed, but I really wish he hadn't published it.
@scobie Are your friends not a source of support when you are under attack on social media? Are we picking Camilla's allowable tribe now? It's ALL unseemly and beyond tragic, and I'm not sure anyone remembers what the point of it all is. Let it subside.
@scobie Frankly, I've predicted a very similar outcome for the Harry Meghan story. It doesn't elicit the same anger, but then I'm not in the social circle of those most affected. I'm not sure highlighting this supports your case. It just intensifies hostility.
@Scribulatora I've said it before and I'll say it again... hatred of JT is visceral and illogical, but palpable. It gets in the way of centrist voters. I'm ready to have a leadership review. JT has done nothing wrong, served faithfully, but his expiration date has come.
@Scribulatora@CPC_HQ I can see the problems with JT and the Liberal party as well as anyone else. It's flawed, no argument there. But PP and friends are not an "alternative", they're a reductionistic backlash. I hope Canadians decide they want no part of it.
@Scribulatora@CPC_HQ PP is the perfect grievance machine. He's stuck on "carp", & while the "solutions" he coughs up sound profound, in actuality they translate to a few unfunded tax cuts and removing a few regulations. Pure rhetoric, no vision.
@Scribulatora@Austindevon49@CPC_HQ Hear hear! I know SO many farmers who are pig headed, and really want others to "obey" their firmly held but not always logical viewpoint. It depends on the farmer and their community. None of us are immune from becoming nasty humans.
