"The hospital considers this to be an attempt to pressure the already struggling medical staff and healthcare sector into ceasing hospital operations completely in the Gaza Strip."

"The Hospital provides medical care and health services to more than 1,200 patients and injured individuals... We appeal to the international community and all international and UN organizations to supply 50,000 liters of fuel to the hospital within the coming hours to prevent a health catastrophe affecting hundreds of patients and injured individuals.
