We are profoundly saddened to learn of the passing of a true pillar of Villa Group, Mohamed Rashad. His association with Villa Group spans nearly 50 years, dating back to the very early days at QIM Maafannu Villa. Mr. Rashad played an instrumental role in the growth and success of Villa Hotels & Resorts, serving as its first General Manager, notably overseeing the opening of Fun Island Resort in 1988.

Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Rashad's dedication to his work was matched only by his commitment to passing on his wealth of knowledge to the next generation. His tireless contributions to the development of young talents, leave an indelible mark on the future leaders of the industry.

During this somber time, we extend our deepest condolences to Mr. Rashad's family. May Allah grant them sabr and strength in facing this significant loss. May Mr. Mohamed Rashad find eternal peace, and may his contributions continue to inspire generations to come.

The Janazah for Mr. Mohamed Rashad is scheduled to take place tomorrow, on the 12th of November 2023, during Fajr Prayer at Masjid Zaid bin Saabit (Hulhumale' Cemetery). We invite all friends, team members, and well-wishers to join us in offering prayers for the peaceful journey of his soul. Al-Jannathul-Firdhaus awaits a true leader and mentor.
