The kids need to be held accountable for their actions. Suspension, detention, removal from the school for the remainder of the year. If the school district doesn’t handle this with stiff responsible action, then these kids will never grow up understanding conflict resolution.
Next time the consequences could be realized from a hospital or far worse.

Would you be willing to start supporting gun safety classes starting at the middle school age and criminal justice course during middle school that continues thru high school. Both of those courses would go along way to explaining the repercussions to both the assailant and the victims.

Here's the deal! If a group of people wish to pray in public on a set day and time. get a legal permit from the city to do that. Normally a permit requires a place time frame in which it can occur and a Fee! This ensures that a Citizens right to pray (freedom of speech) does not become infringed upon.
If an individual wishes to pray in a public park and adhere to the social norms of our constitutional society then that's their right as a citizen.
I.E. Don't pray in the middle of streets or sidewalks or bridges or theatres or running paths or gas stations or Costcos and especially don't pray in front of other denominations and expect no pushback.
Also don't try to persecute me for asking you to move somewhere else that doesn't interfere with everyone else's freedoms.
In saying all of that, if you are not a citizen then you do not possess the same constitutional rights as Citizens!
