I wonder where else it would be beneficial to do things backwards or out of order, which is often the way neurodivergent brains naturally work. Might as well embrace it.

The other day, I worked my way through Trader Joe’s in the opposite direction from the intended traffic flow, and my shopping trip went much more smoothly.
I usually get overwhelmed or burnt out by the time I get to the snack aisle, so it helped starting there first.
I’ve been thoroughly enjoying reading Michelle Obama’s ‘Becoming.’ My fave detail so far is probably the code names they each chose for their time at the White House, which are so apt:
Barack - Renegade 🕶️
Michelle - Renaissance 🎨
Malia - Radiance ☀️
Sasha - Rosebud 🌹
Steal this idea: I wish there was a site dedicated to providing ideas or concepts for other people to explore if they wish.
I have a lot of valuable ideas I will never have the time or desire to execute.
So please, #stealthis idea.
I have a hole in my pants pocket but continue to put stuff in it. Luckily they’re sweatpants so the elastic at the ankle catches the items I keep dropping. #blessed
Realized I can cook a perfect bowl of oatmeal in my single-serving rice cooker without having to worry about stirring or forgetting about it. Game-changer.
Love the idea of “setting it and forgetting it” as much as possible.
It’s always disconcerting when people wear clothing that’s the same color as their skin. It’s foggy and 55 degrees here (SF), and I thought this woman was wearing nothing but a leotard with no pants. 👀
I’ve been playing a free Backgammon game on my phone. The AI is a very cordial opponent until I capture one of its pieces. Then it’s no-holds-barred after that. 🔪
Newbie mistake, but I’m learning quickly.
Since it’s the Wild West on here, make sure 2FA is enabled in your security settings.
An authenticator app is best, but remember to take precautions when switching phones. I learned the hard way when the codes didn’t transfer & I forgot some passwords. #security#2fa
Feeling resourceful with my money-saving tricks that allow me to still indulge at the fancy neighborhood cafe on a tight budget:
Got myself a green smoothie & overnight oatmeal, both of which are very large portions, nutrient-dense & filling enough to last me three days. 😋
This isn’t NYC today.
This was 1973, just after the EPA was created and before it transformed air and water quality. In those early years the agency enlisted photographers to catalogue environmental disasters before they were cleaned up. The climate crisis is reversing history.
