@scovarino @sudkrish if my patient has a name easily mispronounced i always write the phonetic spelling on the white board in their room so other carers or providers don't have to ask over and over again what it is.

@drquinngyn RN here, lots to be said about some surgeons but come on the term "nurses eat their young" shouldn't be over looked. it's an all around high stress area to work with admin pushing numbers and efficiency with overworked staff. it's a mess.

@madison_tayt why are people on this thread equating a crying baby to a dog that could potentially spook and bite someone? lol like what? people leash your dogs, that honestly all i ask. i don't care if they are everywhere as long as on leash. but they never are 😫

@ohheymer @madison_tayt unleashed dogs are everywhere!! they are running up to me and my 3 year old on walks. someone shouting from the distance "they are friendly!" but it's just me scooping up my kid and trying to keep the dog from knocking us over until owners finally catch up. it happens daily.

@madison_tayt even the places they are allowed, owners are not following the rules. it seems like no one uses leashes anymore, my young daughters face was scratched by a dog who was off leash and hadn't master recall or any commands for that matter. she's now fearful of dogs.
