My son Onan taking a Norse Pagan oath against all Christian influence, pledging never to curse his sons with the mark of Yeshua as I did to him by christening him Onan. Also, this whole event happened in Anglish.
@mmjukic We didn't even abolish war since we have yet to discover something which signals your capabilities and desire to be proven right as honestly and unfalsifiably as violence does.
Going from litigation to triggering a stroke probably sounds like a bit of a nonsequitur, but that's mostly because of the twitter character limit. He made a very reasoned case. In any case, I am starting to see more and more that I am most assuredly his son.
I always thought of my dad as being a bit of a moralfag but he's recently been caught up in an awful bit of litigation and he was telling me about his strategy for it which included medical info about the counterparty and the fact that a legal imbroglio could cause them a stroke.
I was thinking today that if I were married I would have to seriously reconsider saying retarded nonsense on the internet because suddenly all of the stuff I say would reflect on her honor and discernment in mate selection.
@R3dJ0k3r The line formation was more about ensuring that your gunfire would actually hit, since muskets were quite inaccurate. Lines were also better against cavalry, and being in formation is better in a melee. Formations got looser as accuracy, rate of fire, and comms tech improved.
After some reflection, the only annual rituals which I abide by are:
1) writing a tongue-in-cheek announcement for pride month for my irl friends
2) watching the game awards with some dudes that I met on league of legends 12 years ago
I don't even reliably observe my own birthday
@qnygrwsn Is this one of those "suicides spike in spring" phenomenons where the google maps yearning is itself a sign of disorder, but at some point one cannot even muster the will to do that?
Seeing news about Riot hiring Holinka for their MMO has now given me the funny realization that even WoD's design quality is lost technology to Blizzard, and worthy of poaching by Riot. Blizzard is a truly fallen company.
Although I hate playing Factorio Seablock, it is aesthetically pretty interesting as a game where you carve out an island of order and meaning in an endless and chaotic primordial ocean.
@sciad I've actually never beat Factorio because the only way I play it is modded with friends and we always give up like 35 hours into the run because it takes so long to figure everything out. Also, we all feel satisfied after achieving nuclear power + an effective rail network
