@niraj_GCI@ZohranKMamdani I'm certain he's willing to talk in good faith with successful business people, but he's also probably wise enough to do so publicly. But @picanor_narra has a point. I don't know that most have any particularly worthwhile ideas. I haven't heard any when I've listened to them.
“I don’t want Jews in positions of elected office and I don’t want Jews having financial ties to the Democratic Party. I don’t like Judaism. If I could wave a magic wand, I would round up Jews and deport them from America. Most Democratic voters agree with me.”
I don’t want to sound like a broken record on this but can you imagine if a top adviser to, and ally of, President Joe Biden had said this? It would be the *only* story in America. For days and weeks on end. Biden and Dem members of Congress would be asked about nothing else by rightly outraged reporters.
So every American political reporter, editor, anchor, executive producer, reading this right now: ask yourself, why aren’t you as outraged when it’s Muslims not Jews, and Trump’s ally not Biden’s?
IMPORTANT.
A CNN journalist witnessed Israeli settlers abduct and blindfold a Palestinian farmer for refusing to leave his land, as IDF soldiers stood guard.
He was later shot, while the IDF blocked the road to prevent anyone from coming to his aid, making sure he would die.
@benjamincowen Glad to see you're learning to just ignore bad faith actors. They really are a waste of everyone's time, if not worse when they confuse the truth.
@DrHachi3@ggreenwald There are both Jews and Muslims in all walks of life throughout the world. Painting with a broad brush like you are is textbook bigotry. Zionists is the word you're looking for. That describes the people who support the Jewish ethno state and expansion of Israel.
If someone made this exact same statement -- but replaced "Muslim" with "Jew" -- their career would not only be instantly and permanently destroyed, but their families, banks, communities and employers would be relentlessly hounded until they were denounced, disowned and banned.
@ggreenwald It's hard for me to believe Scott Jennings doesn't realize what he's doing. Just look at the conceit in his eyebrows. This isn't a man acting in good faith, it's a self-interested, low-down & dirty, the ends (being his personal ascent) always justify the means kind of guy.
@scott_46gsmer@HunterBiden@realDonaldTrump Honestly, for those of us who've listened to him talk, he's of both impressive intellect and humility. The media sure smeared the hell out of him. I was shocked by how decent of a human being he seems to be, even supportive of Graham Platner.
@Kathe56Kat@HunterBiden@realDonaldTrump What an insane post. Truly, this guy never ceases to amaze. Ever outdoing himself with these tone deaf, lying, self aggrandizing and idiotic statements. He's harder working than the hardest working Americans? How the fuck does he come up with this horse shit?!?
@DefiantLs More so than any other politician I've come across, RFK has fallen from the good graces of genuine good faith supporters further and faster than anyone before him. His rise and fall have been so disappointing, it's difficult to put words to.
@DefiantLs I don't know her position on Zionism, but IF she's for it, her discomfort in a parking lot rings very hollow compared to the results of Zionism.
@briebriejoy Briana pushes back on Mamdani for playing a little too friendly with some of the establishment Democratic Party. With so many examples of so-called Progressives using politics as an excuse to deliver, I understand the knee jerk reaction, but Mamdani is actually delivering!
